Things are a little too quiet around here.
Steve and I went for a walk at a local park, and I took this picture. It was a beautiful day today.

Jan, this is beautiful! You're lucky to live in such a magnificent place. I would take pictures of where I walk, but it's just a desert.

We have gorgeous pictures of where we walk - but my poor, slow modem does not like to import them. Actually, Gary and I have a bunch of pictures on display at our local deli (hugh art exhibit for Smith Valley - ha-ha) - but, it's fun to have them there and hear what folks think about them. However, our house is barren - no pics on the walls!

Tahoe should be beautiful this time of year and if we take a walk, pictures should be gorgeous!

Sorry about the desert, Mike - but I'll bet you have good sunsets and sunrises!

Actually, Terri you're right. The sunsets and sunrises are often spectacular. Also, because there is little light pollution where we are (midway between Barstow and Big Bear) we can clearly see the stars and planets. Mars is exceptionally bright right now.(At least I think its Mars. It could be a scratch on my glasses for all I know.)

So - enjoy your beautiful country! We often spend time enjoying our view and clean air, etc.

It's the best thing about where we live. Terri :)
