We started in Barcelona and boarded a Norwegian cruise ship. We went to Cannes and Monaco, then to Florence, Rome, Naples, Sardinia. Back to Spain and Malaga, Cadiz, then Lisbon, Vigo, Paris, Brussels, and ended up in Rotterdam. 14 days in all. We had traditional French and Italian meals in Rome and Paris, gelato in Spain, and Truffels in Brussels. We ate constanly on the ship that included a chocolate buffet at about 11pm one night. It was obscene how much we ate. I think I like Vigo and Brussels the best. Vigo has an attitude I liked. We went down one cobblestones street and passed a shop that had AC/DC blasting, saw lots of posters for alternative bands, and the picture of the giant face on the ground is in Vigo. Brussels was like a medieval town with brick passageways, lots of arches, and canals running everywhere. It was an incredible trip, a once in a lifetime trip.

Bob, It looks like you had a good time. Where did you end up going? It looks like France and Greece might have been in the itinerary.
Isn't it fun to have an "empty nest"? !!
Love, Terri and Gary
Ok - pictures just won't do it. Where did you go? What did you do? What did you eat?

Wow, that sounds great. Wonderful pictures. One of these days Steve and I will get to do something like that.
